As part of the renovation and expansion of the Commons Corridor, the adjacent new courtyard provides a signature outdoor gathering and event campus space. Walks, steps and ramps accommodate circulation connections between the Commons and dorms and provide complete accessibility. In conjunction with the library renovations, a new entry plaza redefines the library entry and creates a complimentary focal point on the campus central Quad across from the new Chapel. The plaza space provides a new campus gathering space featuring a water wall with seating and tree groves.
