Cedar Hill Cemetery

Cedar Hill Cemetery is a historic cemetery straddling the town lines of Hartford, Newington, and Wethersfield. The park-like cemetery was designed and implemented by Jacob Weidenman, who also designed Bushnell Park in Hartford. The Cemetery Board of Directors commissioned Richter & Cegan to do a Master Plan and Analysis for this 270-acre cemetery focusing on adherence to historical design guidelines for restoration of the ponds and street frontage, historic buildings, development of a new second entrance, and expansion of the burial grounds.
