Renovation and restoration of a 100 year old building on the National Historic Register. The historic building, originally built as a school, was converted to an assisted living facility. It is located in a residential neighborhood bordering Hartford's Historic West End. Along with the renovation of the main building was a master plan for future expansion of age-restricted housing in two congregate buildings to the north. The master plan also included a courtyard, outdoor commons area with a Gazebo and wet meadow garden.
