Gary Guimond joined Richter & Cegan in 1996 and became a partner in 2007. A registered landscape architect with more than 19 years of experience, Gary's professional resume spans a wide range of public and private work in and around Connecticut. His specialties include transportation and streetscape planning, parks, recreation and open space design, and educational and academic facilities. From his formal education and professional work experience, Gary brings a strong urban design and planning approach to each of his projects. He blends the hardscape program requirements with the natural characteristics of the site, creating a unique design appropriate to the project program and long term use of the site. Gary also brings a strong sustainable approach to each of his projects and has been a LEED Accredited Professional since 2008.

A selection of relevant projects Gary has been involved in includes: CT Regional Vo-Tech School System Long Range Strategic Master Plan Study for 19 campuses; Plainville Downtown Revitalization Program; Thompsonville Transit Center; several Bridgeport Parks including Went Field and Seaside Park; George Day Park in Hartford; Tolland High School; Pathways to Technology Magnet School; Berkshire School Campus Master Plan; the Terrace at Mercyknoll; the Armed Forces Reserve Center; and the CTfastrak Busway and Stations.
