Bill Weckman
William R. Weckman, PLA, ASLA
 
William Weckman is a registered landscape architect with over 16 years of experience in landscape architecture. Bill joined Richter & Cegan in 2007 and became an associate in 2022. A combination of his formal education, professional work, and construction experience helps Bill bring a realistic approach to design and planning for each of his projects. His appreciation and respect for outdoors and the surrounding environments facilitates his desire to create lasting improvements to sites, all the while maintainng the essential balance between the natural and manmade systems. In recent years, Bill has also focused on single family residential design. Bill's Residential design projects are located in Canton, Granby, Goshen and West Hartford, Connecticut, and in Irvington, New York.

Bill was a member of the design team for the new CT DEEP West District Headquarters, a project pursuing LEED Platinum certification, in Watertown/ Thomaston, CT as well as the 11 CTfastrak stations in New Britain, Newington, West Hartford and Hartford, CT. A selection of Bill's education project experience includes: Asnuntuck Community College in Enfield, CT; multiple projects including Bethel Hall, Bixler Quad, Celentano Hall, Hoffman Street Parking Lot, Maxcy Quad and Bergami Center at the University of New Haven, West Haven, CT; Shafer Hall Renovations, Eastern Connecticut State Univeristy, Willimantic, CT; Health and Human Services Building, Southern Connecticut State University, New Haven, CT; Founders Hall, Naugatuck Valley Community College, Waterbury, CT; E.T. Bill's Parks and Recreational project experience includes A.W.
