Bridgeport, CT
Bridgeport's Downtown Capital Improvements project is a master plan designed to revitalize key pieces of existing infrastructure and enhance linkages throughout the north and south downtown districts. Improvements included five phases of streetscape enhancements, a revitalized central urban green at McLevy Green, the transportation center plaza and new "Dock Park" on Water Street, and a pedestrian gateway to City Hall at the Broad Street Steps. Extensive street and sidewalk improvements enhance vehicular and pedestrian circulation.
