New Britain Streetscape
New Britain, CT
A comprehensive Downtown Streetscape Master Plan and phased construction for the City of New Britain and associated Design Standards for streetscape and pedestrian improvements. A major component of the master plan was the re-design and development of the Central Park Square, the City's most significant urban space, for a variety of civic events and daily enjoyment. Another key component was the integration of art into the streetscape. Both permanent and temporary pieces would be located at key locations throughout the downtown core.
