Mohegan Park

The park provides visitors with a varied experience of woodlands, water features, play areas, picnic pavilions, and Rose Garden. The design intent for the 30 acre park center was to create a pedestrian-oriented destination point and gathering space. This major gathering area now provides an ideal setting for special events and exhibits with a fountain as the focal point. Additional improvements included Arbor Walk overlooking the pond, the re-design of roads, walkways and parking, the Mohegan Indian Memorial, and the existing zoo entrance.
