Back Bay Residence
Boston, MA
Located in Boston's Historic Back Bay neighborhood, this project is the renovation of a row house courtyard. The project included the complete renovation of an existing courtyard and parking area for a private residence. Concrete walls, patio and wood fencing were replaced with brick walls, bluestone pavement and a brick driveway. Custom gates with security features, a wall mounted fountain and ornamental plantings help make the garden space an urban oasis. A key feature of the project is a custom iron staircase providing direct access from the main living area to the courtyard.
