The Glastonbury Riverfront Park fulfills the Town's desire to create public space along and access to the Connecticut River. Richter & Cegan has been involved in master planning, design and phased construction of the over 100 acre riverfront park since its beginning. Waterfront improvements include public overlooks, a riverfront promenade, community boathouse with event space, public and emergency boat launches, and facilities for the Town's crew program. Future phases include a proposed excursion boat launch and extension of the Riverwalk trail system.
